CCEI Hands over meat selling point
In an effort aimed at enhancing food systems and public health, the AFAS Foundation and VSF (Veterinaires Sans Frontières) have successfully implemented a key intervention under the "Herds For Empowerment" (H4E) project. This collaborative effort, implemented by CCEI Malawi, has resulted in the official handover of a newly constructed meat-selling point in Mpherembe Extension Planning Area, located in Mzimba North, to local butchermen. This new infrastructure is set to have an immediate impact, directly supporting the livelihoods of at least twelve local butchermen who operate in and around the Mpherembe area.
